The UK carrier will be based at Birmingham Airport (EGBB/BHX) and plans to operate to destinations including Amritsar and Milan using what the operator calls a hybrid low-cost airline model.

Using IBA's aviation intelligence platform InsightIQ, it can be seen that the Airbus A330-200 aircraft eyed by Hans Airways (recorded as MSN 950) is a 13.5-year-old example of the Airbus widebody. The aircraft has been operated by Air Europa, and shows as stored as of 13 January 2022.

Hans Airways plans to commence operations in 2022 with an Airbus A330-200

IBA announced last year that Over 130 start-up airlines planned on commencing operations by the close of 2022. There is some evidence to suggest that global crises lend themselves to the emergence of start-up airlines.

Hans Airways is still awaiting the formal approval of its operating and route licences.

IBA's InsightIQ analysis platform flexibly illustrates multiple asset, fleet and market positions, actual and potential, to inform client choices and identify acquisition opportunities. Immediate access to crucial aircraft, engine, lease rate and fleet data eases appreciation of historic and future aircraft concentrations and operator profiles.
