Will joined IBA in 2023 as a Market Analysis & Forecasting Manager and brings with him a wealth of knowledge, gathered from both technical and thought leadership roles in the aviation industry. Will began his career at Airbus, holding various engineering positions on the A350, A380 and next generation R&D projects. His role also included stints at the A380 final assembly line in Toulouse, plus secondments to both British Airways and the UK Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP). This ultimately led to Will taking a strategy role at the Aerospace Technology Institute, having worked closely with the team who setup the Institute. 

On joining AGP, Will continued to work hand in hand with both industry and government on thought leadership and the economics for public/private investment in future aerospace technologies, making funding decisions for large R&D collaborations and innovation programmes across the industry. 

Moving on, Will went in-house and became the Strategy and M&A Manager for Smiths Detection, providing screening & detection solutions for aviation security, before finally joining us at IBA in 2023.
