About Denis Brailsford

Denis joined IBA in 2021 as Head of Asset Management. Denis's primary focus is to support our clients through any or all aspects of the investment life cycle of their aircraft. Denis and his team are responsible for providing IBA's global clients with our extensive service capabilities, which include: advising on aircraft investment and finance, maintenance forecasting, management and storage programmes, lease negotiations, repossessions, asset redelivery, part-outs, divestment and remarketing.

 

Having worked in the industry for over 16 years, Denis brings with him a wealth of asset management experience. Prior to joining IBA Denis worked for Virgin Atlantic Airways as an Aircraft Asset Manager. In this position, he led the projects for the retirement of Virgin's A340-600 and B747-400 fleets which culminated in early lease returns and the sale of 13 aircraft in 2020. Denis also has experience heading the up the Avionic Design and Development team as Principle Engineer at Virgin, and held roles at EasyJet, GB Airways and British Mediterranean Airways as a Development Engineer in the airlines respective Part M Organisations.

 

In 2004 Denis graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering.
