Appraiser methodologies were front and centre again recently, as ALC highlighted a range of valuations in its recent investor presentation. Check out the webcast here, the appraiser section is 1:10 in. We don’t necessarily agree with everything Ryan says as in our view there is a bit of apples-to-oranges comparison going on but we acknowledge that there are issues around appraisals that need to be addressed. If you missed it previously, click here or the image to the right to read IBA’s view on the improvements necessary from the appraiser community in this regard. I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on the matter.
I’d like to share a slide from our recent Defaults and Repossession seminar – managing the risks and avoiding the pitfalls. Together with A&O we have put together 8 key points on how to mitigate against and avoid where possible a situation of default or repossession. Click here or on the image below to view. If you’re interested in finding out more about what you should be doing to reduce the risk of Defaults within your portfolio or would like a copy of our seminar slides please drop email@example.com a line.
